La Palma embodies slow travel at its very best, a full island Biosphere Reserve with a landscape replete with waterfalls, Canarian pine and humid laurel forests, extraordinary geological features and glorious views.
The sunny west side of the island has much to recommend it. Tazacorte’s beaches, sunsets and nearby town make for a very attractive place to stop. There are great walks and visits nearby, and a bus stop a short distance from the marina to access some of the island’s famous sites of natural beauty.
